 Agriculture Mark. AGMARK Certification is a quality certificate that mark by the government of India. AGMARK comes under the Agriculture Produce (Grading and Marketing) Act of India, 1937. The present AGMARK standards cover quality rules for 205 distinct commodities spanning over an assortment.

Procedure to fill the Agmark registration form

 

      Apply to the nearest field office of DMI or go through the online website of DMI

      The approved Chemist tests the raw material and the processed commodity before getting it packed in a suitable packing material/containers.

      The field officers of DMI keep a regular check on the commodity graded.

      The samples are analyzed in the Regional Agmark Laboratories and Central Agmark laboratory for sample testing.

      Action deemed fit is taken if the graded commodity is found not conforming to the prescribed standards.

 

Documents required for Agmark Certification

  1. Applicant Name and the product name.
  2. Name & Address of the Firm/ Company.
  3. Sample & Started Time period of the product
  4. A copy of the license from Panchayat/Municipality
  5. Documents related to the establishment of the firm include; Registry forms of the company and others.
  6. Copy of test report which is recognized by Agmark laboratory.
  7. Partnership Agreement; If firm comes under the partnership
  8. List of machinery.
